Zend Framework Applications Questionnaire
Hi, I’m relaying this for our marketing team:
Thanks to all the hard work the community has put in we are just about
ready to release “Zend Framework 1.0″:http://framework.zend.com As part of this release we will be doing significant updates to the website and other outreach. This should help make people aware of the power of Zend Framework and all the efforts going on in the community.
To help out with this, we’d like to create a list of Zend Framework applications. If you could please take just 5 minutes to fill out this
questionnaire, that would be immensely helpful.
We hope to feature some of your great work at the “framework.zend.com”:http://framework.zend.com site and even if not, would love to hear what you’ve been up to with ZF.
Thanks,
Bill Karwin

I have not seen/read anywhere that if there is some pre-built skeleton to built an application is available over Zend using ZendFramework.
I am a Symfoy fan and am curious to know if there is something out there on zend like SandBox in Symfony.

Can we expect any updates on this issue? It’s rather unfortunate for such a promising development as Zend Framework is to loose terrain to competitors due to lack of working example applications and straight-forward guides. Developers are spending hours, days, and weeks surfing the search engines for any hints or solutions to their problems, and Zend Framework are relying on a few enthusiastic bloggers (thank you — you know who you are) to lift this burden. You have a version 1.0 out, and there’s absolutely no real guide of a good modular application skeleton. You really — and I mean REALLY — ought to up on this issue. It is almost August.

Trying to switch to MCV structure but cnnt decide where and how to use it. It will be helpful if we get some sample application. Tere is http://www.magentocommerce.com/ magento but it is too heavy for learning curve and it is too slow on shared servers. What about using ZF for simple applications? Will it require Dedicated server to run simple applications as well ?
