ZendCon Update!
ZendCon is sneaking up on us fast. If you’ve not got your tickets yet, time is running out so you had better hurry. To whet your appetite, ere are a few blog posts or ZendCon mentions from speakers and attendees who will be there this year.
- Terry Chay
[Side Note: I can't remember exactly who made this analogy so I'll attribute it to Paul Reinheimer. Terry Chay is like William Shattner's character on "Boston Legal", Denny Crane. Both Terry and Denny love hearing their own name.] - Mike Naberezny
- Brian DeShong
In other news, make sure you RSVP for Happy Hour 2.0 if you are planning to attend but are NOT attending ZendCon. (If you are attending ZendCon, there’s no need to RSVP, you have a ticket) Again, I’d like to thank Terry Chay for getting the Lunch 2.0 crowd involved in ZendCon this year.
If you are attending ZendCon but have not yet registered on the Wiki, now is the time to do it! Add your name to the list, check out the proposed Birds of a Feather session, and make sure o add yourself into any of your affiliation groups. (#phpc, phpwomen.org, Zend Certified Engineers)
Finally, if you are attending, make sure you check out the Unconference wiki page. If you have an idea for a session make sure you contact the Program Chair for the Unconference, Patrick Reilly.
If you can’t tell by now, I’m pumped about ZendCon. I’m looking forward to seeing all my old friends and meeting a lot of new ones this year. I hope to see you there.
Oh…and…Terry Chay.
