Hello everybody. Just taking this chance to introduce myself here at Zend. My name is Eli White and I’m the new Editor-in-Chief of DevZone and “Community Guy” at Zend.
Filling the previous Editor-in-Chief’s shoes (Cal Evans) will be a tough job, but I’m looking forward to giving it my best. I’m still settling in here at Zend, but as this post shows, I’m close to getting into the groove. Expect fairly regular DevZone content coming from me in the future.
I’m hashing up some schemes for updating DevZone in the future, and I plan to bring back PHPabstract (Zend’s PHP Podcast) as soon as I can. So, let me get out of the way here and allow the content to speak for itself.

As someone who never missed one of your talks when at the last two ZendCons I look forward to your involvement in and additions to the direction of DevZone.
Mad props to Cal for his work and tireless energy.
Brad
P.S. Are you going to keep the same intro music on the Podcast?

I’m not sure what you’re talking about… I’ve seen Cal’s feet and they’ve never seemed that big.
Anyway, congrats to our new glorious leader. Good luck and have fun. I look forward to seeing what you do in and with the community.
