The “European WinPHP Challenge”:http://wiki.phpconference.nl/2009_WinPHP_Challenge is a competition being run jointly by “Ibuildings”:http://ibuildings.com/, “Microsoft”:http://microsoft.com/, and “LeaseWeb”:http://leaseweb.com/. The goal of the competition is to get people developing new PHP applications on IIS7, and showing that IIS7 and PHP can work great together.

Zend is announcing today that they are joining up, and are offering as prizes to the 3 winners a one year subscription to Zend Server, and licenses for Zend Studio. The winners will be announced at the “Dutch PHP Conference”:http://phpconference.nl/ in Amsterdam.

Good luck to all the competitors! Zend looks forward to seeing what great applications they come up with.
