1st Russian Zend Framework Conference Announced

I am happy to announce the 1st Russian Zend Framework Conference (“ZFConf 2010″:http://www.zfconf.ru/) which will take place in Saint-Petersburg, Russia at the end of March.

An initial list of topics has been decided and the conference is open for registration.

I am glad to participate in the event along with other speakers, some of which are acknowledged specialists and have a wide experience in using Zend Framework. The official language of the conference is Russian.

About Alexander Veremyev

Alexander Veremyev is a Zend Framework Team Member. He is responsible for Lucene, Pdf and some other components as well as a release process. He started his IT work in 1989 at the Computer center of "Sechenov Institute of Evolutionary Physiology and Biochemistry":http://www.iephb.ru/eng/index.htm, Russian Academy of Sciences. That was lovely time :) when computers were large and monitors were green :) That was time of PDP-11, RT11-SJ/RT11-XM, Pascal, Assembler and his first steps in C. He worked in the laboratory up to 1995 during the education in "high school 239":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Petersburg_Lyceum_239 specialized in Mathematics and Physics and "Sent-Petersburg State Technical University":http://www.spbstu-eng.ru/ (Faculty of Physics and Mechanics, Department of Applied Mathematics) and graduated from the University at 1998 with a Master degree in Applied Mathematic. By that time he already started his work in "Institute for High Performance Computing and Databases":http://www.csa.ru/old/, Databases Laboratory (1996). That gave really nice expiricence with RISC UNIX systems (Sun Solaris, HP-UX, SGI, AIX), clusters, several DBMS Systems and his special love - IBM DB2 Parallel Edition (named Table Partitioning Option currently). Since 2000 up to 2003 and from 2003 up to 2005 he worked for two German companies specialized in data processing and Web development. That was a time when he familiarized himself with PHP, XML, XML Databases, XSLT, SXML (technology of using Schema language for XML processing). It determined other his love - functional languages. Starting from 2005 up to present he has been working within Zend Framework Team for "ZF project":http://framework.zend.com/.
