Zend Framework Module Based Application
In this first article of the series, we will discuss about the best way (in my opinion) to structure your Zend Application in order to have maximum flexibility but also a good defined structure of the classes/files.
These will be a series of tutorials which are meant to show you or guide you through developing a complex application with Zend Framework 1.10.
The series consists of the following parts:
a) Setting up a module based application
b) Setting up helper plugins, methods & debugging with ZFDebug
c) Setting up a login page and signup page with captcha
d) Setting up OpenID to login/create account
e) Setting up an API to create/login an account
f) Improving performance implementing Zend Cache

Hi,
it would be awesome if you could sketch some best practices for (almost) self-contained modules and could also cover further aspects like different databases for different modules too – just my two cents.

I will actually do that, but it will be as a separate article, not "related" to this series, rather than a guideline – since some will agree / some won’t. These things should not be enforced rather than leave to the developer to choose.

Maybe I am being clueless, but where’s the article? All I can find is this blurb about a plan to write an article. Am I missing the link the text?
