John Congdon starts a discussion on PHP User Groups
Over on his blog, John Condgon has posted a very short question that he’s hoping to get some feedback on. The post is titled “PHP User Groups (Orlando and Daytona Beach)> and in it he discusses two formats that his PUG can adopt and asks you, the reader, for your input.
The East Central Florida PHP User Group (Daytona Beach area) is new/restarting. They have only had one meeting so far, and finally scheduled another a few months later. They seem to be more geared towards teaching new PHP developers. While we haven’t done anything so far, they are leaning towards a mentor/student type of group.
He also describes how the Orlando, FL – US PUG is organized and then asks you for your input. One of the great things about the PHP community is that we have a thriving network of PUGs, the world over. Help John add one more to that list. Click on over, give it a read and leave his your thoughts.
