We are pleased to announce that there will be a Zend Framework 1.12 release!

As such, we will be reviewing proposals for any new components which proposers are confident can be completed in time for a release timed in December!

If you are sitting on something you would like to see included, or are interested in reviving a proposal to have included in 1.12 (including from the archived proposals list), please get in touch with the CR-Team (zf-crteam@zend.com), and/or move your proposal to the ‘Ready For Recommendation’ section in http://framework.zend.com/wiki/display/ZFPROP/Home

This release will be in the interests of forward compatibility, to provide an easier transition to ZF2 so if you have any ideas which could help with that, now is the time to make them heard.

In addition to any new components proposed, the Autoloader and EventManager from current ZF2 development will also be included in the release! Along with new Cloud \ Infrastructure and Rackspace components.

A page for tracking the 1.12 release has been created in the wiki for you all to keep up to date with progress:

very excited, and happy to give ideas.

Mmm.. It’s great in general, but one thing is sad for me – dojo support is outdated in fact. Current dojo helper is about compatible with DOJO 1.5.. Current version is 1.7 with many new features/changes like async loading, html5-compatible tags and so on.

Sounds very exciting, will stay tuned for release.

It’s great in general, but one thing is sad for me –i link this ,i think its going to the right way

I second Serg. Dojo 1.7 loader support would be fab.

@serg @JL u are both right, but you can still do that on the client side

Great news if this version still works on php 5.2.

any prediction when it might be released?
