p. Things are really starting to heat up in the kitchen over at “CakePHP”:http://www.cakePHP.org as they announce their first (annual?) “Baking Day”:http://bakingday.com/ “24 Hour coding contest”. While the ingredients list in incomplete for Baking Day we do know that it contain equal measures of of inspiration, hard work, teamwork and don’t forget to mix in a heaping helping of the secret ingredient, “CakePHP”:http://www.cakePHP.org.

p. “Armando Sosa”:http://www.nolimit-studio.com/baking/ is the head chef for Baking Day and he describes it in his “blog”:http://www.nolimit-studio.com/baking/2006/06/07/the-baking-day/ like this:

Well, I don’t really have all the rules outlined yet but it will be something like this: Yourself or your team (up to three) have to completely build an app from scratch in 24 hours using the fantabulous CakePHP framework which is going to compete with many other apps to emerge as the winner.
