Win a FREE Copy of Zend Studio

It’s high time we started giving some stuff away here on DevZone. What’s the point of having a web site if you can’t pretend it’s Mardi Gras once in a while and start flinging trinkets into the crowd? So here’s what we are going to do. (Warning: I’m removing my trusty fedora and once again donning my Jester’s Cap of Marketing.)

p. My good friend Avigail was kind enough to cough up some copies of Zend Studio and even a license for Zend Guard. As with anything coming from a marketing department, they are not really free. This free stuff is going to cost you a few minutes of your life.

p. We’ve got a quiz (No, not a survey, a quiz!) to test your mad Zend Studio skillz. If you don’t have said skillz, I’d suggest downloading the “Free 30 Day Trial of Zend Studio”:http://www.zend.com/free_download/studio and develop them.

p. Once you are a Studio-Fu master, take the quiz by clicking on this “link”:http://www.zoomerang.com/survey.zgi?p=WEB226HTWEJLSD. The quiz was prepared by the wise and ancient one himself, Master Yossi so expect it to be of average difficulty and not terribly hard if you’ve been using Zend Studio for a while.

h3. First Prize

p. Zend Studio perpetual license + Zend Guard annual license- develop your applications then Encode and obfuscate them with Zend Guard.

h3. Second Prize

p. 3 Second Prize Winners will each receive a Zend Studio Professional license

h3. Third Prize

p. 200 Third prize Winners will get a coupon worth 50% off when you order Zend Studio.

p. So take “the quiz”:http://www.zoomerang.com/survey.zgi?p=WEB226HTWEJLSD and show us your mad Zend Studio skillz.

Cool quiz, but Master Yossi forgot about Mac OS X users :-)

Most of the Questions are quite specifically targetted at unmodified configurations. Either You assume that people tire of customizing their config after every other bug that involves deleting the configuration, or you don’t assume powerusers try to win a copy.

I’m lucky that Zend has full product information, or else I could not have answered the Windows question. And even then, I hope the info on the Zend website is correct ;)
