Let’s reach into the goodie bag and see what we can give a way today.

It’s a very poorly kept secret that Zend is working on an Eclipse based version of Zend Studio. They must be getting down to the ‘fit and finish’ pieces of the project because my buddy Yossi wrote me and asked me to enlist the help of the PHP community at large. So here’s his request.
p. The Zend Studio team needs your help. They are looking for a code snippet to showcase the syntax highlighting and debugging capabilities of Zend Studio. Here are what they are looking for:

1. The sample code should be at least 20 lines of code and no longer than 150 lines of code.
2. Code indentation should follow Zend Studio standards.
3. The script must include HTML, PHP and JavaScript code (CSS is optional).
4. An iteration (for, while, etc) should be part of the code.
5. A short function should be part of the code.
6. A small class should be part of the code.
7. The output of the code should have nice and intuitive design.

Email your entries to contest@zend.com. All entries must be submitted by midnight Pacific Time, July 26th, 2007. Once all entries are in, the judging will begin. Judging amongst the qualifying entries submitted will be on the wholly un-scientific basis of which entry “strikes Yossi’s fancy”.

Standard legal chaff applies. All entries become property of Zend. We can do with it as we please. By submitting, you are stating that you own the code and that it’s ok for us to use it.
