In her spare time Lorna hangs out on IRC and blogs at lornajane.net.

BTW, Zend Framework has the adapter for the pdo_oci and there are a few other great libraries that provides a higher-level API to work with the oracle: zend framework, pear db, propel, ADOdb and so on.
