SF PHP Meetup Presents Terry Chay in a One Man Show 'The PHP Fear and Loathing Guide to OO Design'

chay_terry_front Thursday, February 7th at 7:00 PM, Terry Chayself proclaimed PHP Terrorist – will be giving talk about object-orientated code in PHP at the San Francisco PHP meetup.

How does the PHP developer in the trenches create powerful object-orientation code? By doing what the PHP’s architects did, of course: cherry picking the most pragmatic of OOP principles and patterns! This talk is targeted at the PHP developer who has basic knowledge of PHP OOP syntax but wants to find out where OOP principles can fit into a program.

If you’ve never seen one of Terry Chay’s presentations, well they are hard to describe. Let’s just say that at php|tek this year, his is the only talk with an “explicit” warning. He is however, a favorite at every conference he speaks at. His talks are always both informative and highly entertaining.

So clear a spot on your calendar and drop by. It looks like I’m going to be in the area so I’ll be there. Make sure you come over and say hi. (I’ll be the one with the “Terry Chay: World Tour 2008” T-shirt on.
