Hello,

Have you tried to connect MySQL Workbench with the MySQL database server that comes with the Zend Server 6.x for Apple Mac OSX. The connection can be established via socket but the tables you create or import form a sql script can not be viewed. When you choose to view the tables the message "Fetching tables" appears and never ends.

Do you tried that ?

Thanks

Oh hey, another thing you might help clarify. The forums say that PhpMyAdmin is available as an RPM install for Linux, but I can't find any guidance for how to add it back in on a Mac. Can you help with that?

Nice simple walk through. I've had consistent issues with enabling the Zend MySql instance on Macs on both 5.6 and 6.0. The two basic issues are:

1. zendctl.sh doesn't manage MySql by default
2. permissions and ownership issues with the install

I distilled the fixes I use to get MySql configured on Mac here https://github.com/jeremiahsmall/zendctl.sh-mod
