eZ systems has released this latest newsletter. They talk about 3.8.4, updated documentation, and several other cool things.

This week’s newsletter brings news about an updated distribution package for eZ publish 3.8.4, new documentation for eZ publish upgrades and new information about eZ platform development. The newsletter also includes the weekly forum watch and an update about the current bug fix status.

The upgrade to 3.8.4 contains the following fixes.

• Bug: Renamed files in 3.8.4 tar.gz
• Bug: File consistency check: FAILED
• Bug: ezpackage: Unhandled installation error has occurred.

They also talk about eZ platform.

This week the team started working on some new prototypes and continued polishing the existing ones (in particular the widget prototype). A short demonstration / presentation of the background process system and a possible GUI layout (an early mock-up of the administration interface) was done on Monday.
