I have now collected the majority of the slides from the speakers at ZendCon. Most of these have already been posted on the speakers blogs. However, I thought it would be a good idea to gang them all together on one post for those who are looking for them. I’ve also linked to the blog posts of any speakers who blogged about ZendCon as well.

Wow, what a conference. I told several people that just attending conferences as press is a heck of a lot easier than actually hosting one. This year’s ZendCon was a great conference any way you look at it. Great tutorials, great sessions, great keynotes, even great parties…er…networking events.

ZendCon is heating up. With less than two weeks to go, things are starting to fall in place. One of the things we’ve added to ZendCon this year is the Unconference. Last year, several groups held informal sessions at ZendCon but always had to scramble for space and chairs. Recognizing that no one can’t plan a conference that covers everything everybody wants to talk about, this year we are providing the space and tools for anyone to be a presenter at ZendCon.

The entries are in. All have been carefully evaluated based on a laundry-list of criteria. As far as you know, we didn’t just dump all the names in a hat and draw one at random.

Ok, it’s been a while since I’ve done a ZendCon update so bear with me. This is more than just a “pay the bills” post, I’ve got some real cool announcements. First, we have the name of the final keynote speaker, second, we have a new speaker in the lineup and finally an exciting announcement about Tuesday Evening’s Reception in the Exhibit Hall.

My therapist says that my deep seated need to give things away stems from me watching too many re-runs of “WKRP”. Honestly, what male child of the 70s didn’t stand in front of the mirror with a hairbrush and pretend to be “Dr. Johnny Fever”? So to scratch my itch, let’s give away a ticket to ZendCon ‘07.
