This week I’m in Chicago, IL – US attending DrupalCon ’11. This conference is different than most of the conferences I attend in several way, the most important being scale. This conference is huge. It is on the scale of OSCON as opposed to most of the conferences I attend, which are on the scale of ZendCon. Click on in, check out my thoughts and leave one of your own.
DrupalCon ’11 Thoughts Part 2
DrupalCon ’11 Thoughts
This week I am in downtown Chicago making new friends and attending sessions and parties at DrupalCon ’11. I will have to say, I’ve been to a lot of conferences in the past 6 years but it is rare that I meet a community that is as enthusiastic and friendly as the Drupal community.
DrupalCon DC 2009 Wrap Up
I attended the 2009 DrupalCon in Washington DC this year, and was extremely impressed by the conference and the Drupal Community in general. I’ll admit that I’ve never used Drupal, though always had a number of friends who used it regularly. So I was attending as an ‘outsider’ to so speak, not knowing the lingo nor how that community differed from the more general PHP community.
Zend employees have been busy submitting to Call for Papers at various tech/PHP conferences and will be presenting talks around the world. Here is a list of who will be where.
