Keith Casey, the chair of this year’s ZendCon UnCon, has published information about this year’s UnConference will run as well as how to start submitting papers.

The organization of this year’s UnConference will be handled in the following manner:

  • Submissions are now open. To submit a session, email it to the UnCon chair: keith [at] blueparabola.com The format can be a regular presentation, a hands-on workshop, a panel discussion, a round table, or even more creative. It’s your session, it’s your choice.
  • All of the sessions will appear on Joind.in: http://joind.in/event/zendcon09-uncon and will be open for public voting. If you’re attending ZendCon, you should vote. Just give a rating (1-5) and leave a comment.
  • About two weeks before ZendCon, the first day will be scheduled based on the top vote-getters.
  • Once we’re at ZendCon, we’ll announce the following day’s UnConference sessions based on ongoing voting.

That’s it, so go start submitting and rating potential UnCon talks! You can find out more information about the UnCon as it develops on the Official Zend UnCon Page, on Keith Casey’s Blog, or right here on Zend’s DevZone!
