The PHPBarcelona Conference 2010 will take place from the
22nd to the 23rd of October
and is a unique opportunity to share knowledge and expertise with other
developers, architects, managers, and prominent community members on the
very shore of the Mediterranean.
Having reached its 4th edition, the event looks back on its
predecessors, specially 2009 and 2008, which have all been an
amazing success, both in attendance and in not only the
quality of the topics covered and the detail in which they have been
approached, but also in the fin and general good spirits that reign
throughout the experience.
The call for papers will be open until the 20th
As a speaker you will have the chance to not only bathe in the
pool of talent that is the PHPBarcelona Conference but also to get
in line with the biggest names in the industry.
The scope of the conference covers everything
that is related to the life-cycle of PHP development, from the
conception of idea of a project to it’s release into the wild, and
Software design, architecture, databases, standards and
conventions, best-practices, algorithms and patterns, frontend,
backend… It doesn’t matter if it is a session
oriented to newbies or whether it is aimed at the most knowledged and
talented experts, don’t hesitate to submit your proposal for
Remember that your proposal should be clear and
to the point, and priority will be given to highly specialized topics
over diffuse inspirational talks. Possible proposal formats:
- Session: 50 minute presentation
- Workshop: 1hr 50min practical session
- Double session: If you wish to submit a two hour presentation,
please divide it into two parts
After the call for papers closes, the Editorial Board of the
conference will assemble and all authors will be notified of the status
of their submission.

- Specify clearly in the subject if you are submitting a Session
or a Workshop

- Abstract of your talk proposal (300 words aprox.)
